Wirkkala and Zuccheri for Venini at Stanze del Vetro on St. George’s Island in Venice

Until March 13th, 2022  Up to March 13th, 2022, it will be possible to visit the incredibly colorful double exhibit Tapio Wirkkala at Venini’s and Toni Zuccheri at Venini’s at the Stanze del Vetro (the Glass Rooms) on St. George’s Island in Venice.
The Finnish designer and the Italian architect-artist, thanks to their collaboration with the famous Murano glass factory Venini, introduce us to their exceptional universe of vases, animals, works of art inspired by the vegetal world, all dominated by vivid colors and mixing different cultures and arts. In the past this important glass factory used to cooperate with several great masters and designers, and is still nowadays one of the most renowned Murano glass factories.
We’ll be waiting for you, to show you also this particular aspect of the glass art in Venice and, why not, to unveil all the other beauties that St. George’s Island preserves.
