A visit of the Museum of Natural History “Giancarlo Ligabue”

October 30th, 2019: the Museum changes name... On October 30th, 2019 a particular celebration took place in the Museum of Natural History in Venice, the former Turks’ Warehouse: the Museum was officially dedicated to Giancarlo Ligabue, as to stress the important connection between the famous paleontologist and Venice.

Its new official name is then Museum of Natural History “Giancarlo Ligabue”.

This Museum is particularly interesting for guided tours in Venice for kids, because of the extraordinary variety of its collections. The masterpiece, of course, is the skeleton of a dinosaur!
