Hi! My name is Marialaura Bidorini. In 1989 I got my licence as a Touri Assistant, which allowed me to travel around the world with several groups of tourists. Afterwards, in 2000 I passed the scrupulous exams organized by the Veneto Region to become an Authorized Tourist Guide in Treviso, Venice and their provinces. Now I am registered at the number 1018 of the city register of Tourist Guides in Venice.
After graduating from a Foreign Languages High School, I decided to attend the Oriental Languages courses at the University of Venice "Ca' Foscari", where I studied Turkish, which brought me in touch with a fascinating culture that has always been connected with the History of Venice through cultural and commercial contacts, but also through centuries of fights. In order to improve the language, I lived and worked for quite a long time in Turkey after my University graduation.
I work as a publicist journalist and I cooperate with an important Radio Channel interviewing artists, actors, movie directors.
My wonderful job allows me to meet very interesting people from all over the world, in an endless exchange of knowledge, cultures, occasions. My "engine" is my curiosity, as well as my true love for Art, History, as well as for close and far away cultures. I am always eager to learn more, to discover something new, to interact with different worlds.I love to show the magic of Venice to those that are willing to enter this wonderful maze of beauties and infinite surprises.
I will be waiting for you!
